The Measureless Love of God

The Measureless Love of God

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”~John 14:27

Jesus Christ taught that God is our loving Heavenly Father.
He said that God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that all who would believe in His death on the cross for their sins and subsequent resurrection, would never die, but could enjoy fellowship with God now on earth and also forever in eternal paradise. (See John 3:16)

Jesus taught that those who believe in Him as their Savior would be forgiven all their sins, reborn from above and adopted into God’s family as His own precious children.
He said that His children could ask His Heavenly Father for anything in His name and it would be done for them!

“Jesus said,”If you live in Me and what I say lives in you, then ask for anything you want, and it will be yours. I will do anything you ask the Father in My name so that the Father will be given glory because of the Son.” ~John 14:13-14
…If you ask Me to do something, I will do it.” ~John 15:7

Jesus said that our Father knows our needs even before we ask Him!
He taught that God is such a God of love that He even cares when a common sparrow falls to the ground and dies.
God measures the dust of the earth, the Bible tells us, and He cherishes each of us so much that He counts the very hairs on our head.

St. Paul wrote, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” ~Romans 8:31-32

Jesus said we must ask God for what we need even though He already knows our needs.
In Luke 18:1, He tells His disciples, “People ought to always pray and to never give up.”

Sometimes God may seem so silent as if He is not listening to our prayers. But He hears them all. The Psalmist envisioned our compassionate Creator
collecting our tears and putting them into a special bottle marked with our name.

Psalm 56:8 “You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?”

God will answer our prayers in His own way and time.
The prophet Habakkuk wrote, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end fulfillment; it will not deceive or disappoint.
Though it tarry, wait earnestly for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”~ Habakkuk 2:3-4

Our God asks us to walk with Him day by day with eyes of faith, trusting Him and believing His word even though we cannot see or feel Him.
The author of the book of Hebrews wrote, “Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1

Hebrews 1:6 “Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that He is real and that He rewards those who sincerely try to find Him.”

“Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him,
but the rigidly just and the uncompromisingly righteous man shall live
by his faith and in his faithfulness.”~Habakkuk 2:3-4

Our God is a merciful, compassionate Father. If He allows us to be thrown
into the fiery furnace of affliction to refine our faith, He will jump into that fire
alongside of us just as He did for the Hebrew captives in Babylon so long ago.
(See Daniel 3:24-25)

When my children were little, God gave me a beautiful poem to comfort and encourage me. I recently made it into a prayer song, now available on my album, “God’s Rainbow Promise.” May this prayer song comfort and encourage you wherever you are on your journey.

Yahweh’s Promise

I love you, My child
And I’ll never forsake you,
You’re one of My own.
I will always be with you;
Your hand will I hold,
For in your heart My word is sown.

Don’t be afraid of the darkening night;
The times, they are evil
And you will have to fight.
But the good and upright and the just will prevail;
With My word as your sword you can never fail.

Walk on in faith and don’t ever look back
To the road you have already trodden.
The way is before you and the past is gone—
Walk on in faith though the way seems long;
Walk on in faith though the way is long.

I love you, My child, and My peace is yours.
I will never forsake you—not one of My own!
Though all around you the storms are severe,
Remember in faith I am always near,
To uphold and support you, no matter where,
In failure, in victory, in doubt, in despair;
In laughter, in weeping, in danger, in fear…
My promise forever: I am always here…

I am always here, I am always here,
My promise forever, I am always here.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your only Son to suffer and die for our sins so that we might be forgiven and become Your very own children through Christ’s atoning sacrifice. Give us Thy grace to comprehend Your measureless love for us and to never take Your beautiful Gift, the Gift of Your precious Son Jesus Christ for granted. Thank You, Lord. I love You.
In Jesus Name. Amen.

My Prayer For You

MY PRAYER FOR YOU

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, please Bless Your children today with everything they are seeking from You.
Fill them with peace from the rivers of Heaven.

Give them hope and faith to withstand every discouragement, challenging setback, and trial.

May they feel Your loving arms surrounding and supporting them everywhere they go.

May they know that You CHERISH them and will NEVER leave or forsake them.

In Jesus name. Thank You Lord. I love You. Amen. ❤️

Psalm 103:13-17
“The Lord is as kind to his followers as a father is to his children.
He knows all about us. He knows we are made from dust.
He knows our lives are short, that they are like grass.
He knows we are like a little wildflower that grows so quickly, but when the hot wind blows, it dies.
Soon, you cannot even see where the flower was.
But the Lord has always loved His followers, and He will continue to love them forever and ever!”

WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

With God, all things are possible,
Though hope for now seems dim,
Oh never stop believing,
Trust everything to Him.

With God all things are possible,
He will not let you down,
If you’ve stepped out of the boat,
He’ll never let you drown.

If you’re walking on the sea
By faith in Jesus’ hands,
He’ll make the water hold you up,
As if it were dry land.

With God all things are possible,
By faith He’ll see you through,
Every work, yes every task,
He’s calling you to do.

And if it seems too hard for you,
The Lord will be your strength,
He’ll guard you and protect you,
He’ll empower you with faith.

With God, all things are possible
Your mountains fall by prayer,
“Ask of Me,” your God has said,
“I hear you and I care.”

“Oh come before My Throne of Grace
With every care and need,
And all your mountains they will fall,
Yes, fall into the sea.
I hear you’re every prayer, says God,
I’ve bottled every tear,
Oh nothing is too hard for Me
Have faith and do not fear!”

“With God all things are possible,
Yes, trust in Me, believe!
I will not let you down, My child,
Nor your heart deceive.
Walk with Me on the water,
Walk with Me through the sea,
I’ll see you through, My little one,
Just keep your faith in Me.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that Your word assures us that NOTHING is too hard for You. You are the God who moves mountains for us when we pray in faith. And Jesus said we must always pray and never give up. The Angel Gabriel told Mary, “For with God, all things are possible.”
Help us trust and believe in Your mighty power to meet our needs no matter what our circumstances are, because Your word says, You are the God of all flesh and that NOTHING is too hard for You. May we never underestimate Your power to rescue us, to meet our need, however great, or to heal us, however sick we may be. You are the God of the Impossible! Thank You, Lord
! We love You! In Jesus name, Amen.

God’s Plans For You

Just Around the Corner
Prayer Song  © Suzanne D. Harden

Just around the corner
Something new there’ll be,
Just around the corner,
Just you wait and see!

Just around the corner,
Just around the bend,
Just around tomorrow,
A little while and then…

A future full of hope,
A promise and a dream,
Just around the corner,
Just you wait and see.

Walk a while with Me,
You know I never lie
And when the way is hard
Just keep your hand in Mine.

And though the way is steep,
Keep looking up ahead
For there a promise waits for you
Just around the bend.

Oh, just around the bend,
Just you wait and see!
Oh don’t give up, My little one,
Keep walking on with Me.

Oh just around the corner
To tomorrow’s shores,
No matter what today may bring
Let Hope be ever yours.

Oh just around the corner,
Just you wait and see,
Oh don’t give up, My little one,
Keep walking on with Me.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that You have promised to never leave or forsake us and to give us a future and a hope. May we walk by faith with our hand in Yours, though we see You only in our hearts. May we never give up on You even as You have promised to never give up on us. We love You, Lord! In Jesus holy name. Amen.
