Behold The Lamb- The 33rd Album From Christ

Behold The Lamb Album Art and link to Album tracks —meditative Christian Instrumentals Inspired by the Holy Spirit, focusing on the Redemptive Work of Christ from the Gospel of John.
Album Art For Behold The Lamb

It is with the greatest joy that I share with you my latest release of Christian Instrumentals~ appropriately titled “Behold The Lamb.”

Why is that an appropriate name for the thirty-third album of musical instrumentals whose tracks and music are focused on various passages in the life of Christ from the Gospel of John?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, spilled His spotless blood on the cross as an eternal sacrifice to pay for the deliverance from our sins at the age of thirty three.

I could never have known ten years ago when the Lord inspired me to publish my first album that He would give me thirty-three albums of music to glorify His name throughout the earth~or astonishingly, that He would prompt me to call the thirty-third album of music to His children “Behold The Lamb.”

The Lord encouraged me several years ago to write an attribution on the cover (or somewhere visible) on all my works that they are accomplished “…through the Indwelling Risen Lord Jesus Christ, Inspired by the Holy Spirit, to the Glory of God, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”

Why did He do this?

He wanted to remind not only me, but all of His children that Christ said always it was His Father within Him that did His miracles, and that apart from His Father He could do nothing.

Jesus said, ““Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine;
no more can ye, except ye abide in Me.”
‭‭

John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.”

John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I must remind everyone that my music from the Lord is truly a miracle gift. For I wasn’t a musician until Christ sovereignly dropped His music gift into my lap and asked me to do this work for Him. (*I’m not a trained musician and can only play or sing the music that the Lord gives me for His children. I truly can do none of my work apart from Christ.)

Jesus Christ said that He was going to dwell within each of His children who would keep His Words, and abide in Him.

Jesus said, “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father,
and the Father in Me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from Myself; but the Father who lives in Me does His works.”

John‬ ‭14‬:‭24‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬

When we believe and act by faith on Jesus’ words, He really does show that He is the risen Lord and Savior and manifests Himself to our hearts.

He directs and guides our life;

His Holy Spirit comes to live in our hearts and we become the living temples of the Holy Spirit.

Christ manifests His reality to the world through our faith and obedience to Him.

We honor and worship Him by obeying Him.

Often our obedience to Christ is misunderstood and therefore misinterpreted.

But we cannot worry about what others will think about us, or allow their opinion or even rejection of us deter us from obeying our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ must be our Head, our supreme Authority, our King and God, or else we have an idol.

Jesus said that no man can have two masters.

““You cannot serve two masters at the same time.
You will hate one and love the other, or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other.
You cannot serve God and Money
at the same time.”

Each Christian who calls on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is a living temple wherein the Spirit of Christ dwells.

“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬

Each professing Christian is a human representative or ambassador of Christ on earth who is proclaiming to the world that the risen Lord Jesus Christ lives within them.

“Look closely at yourselves. Test yourselves to see if you are living in the faith. Don’t you realize that Christ Jesus is in you? Of course, if you fail the test, He is not in you.”

“God decided to let His people know just how rich and glorious that truth is. That secret truth, which is for all people, is that Christ lives in you, His people. He is our hope for glory.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ ‭ERV‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/406/col.1.27.ERV

“We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For Him who knew no sin He made to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/206/2co.5.20-21.WEBUS

The Lord Jesus Christ redeemed us with His spotless blood and only has our best interest in mind.

His Word admonishes us to seek the Lord, for we cannot cultivate our relationship with Him without abiding in fellowship with our Lord.

“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call on Him while He is near.”

“Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/206/1th.5.16-18.WEBUS

Each one of these verses is an admonition to remain in the presence of the Lord.

Rejoice always…be joyful how, and why?

We give our praise to God for His wondrous blessings!

What is one of His beautiful blessings? Forgiveness. He forgives all our sins. He suffered and died on the cross to forever cleanse us from the stain of sin.

Others may condemn us for our faults but read what the scriptures say and rejoice in Christ!

“Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/8/rom.8.33-34.AMPC

We meditate on Christ and the precious gifts we have in Him.

Pray without ceasing..this is abiding in Christ’s presence and it takes a choice admittedly and a determination not to abide in the world or conform to it.

Give thanks in all circumstances, and this is really a difficult one, but we can still abide in Christ here even when we vent to Him because Hebrews 4 says:

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/59/heb
.4.14-16.ESV

No matter what our issue, if we choose to, we can abide in Christ or His Word would not have said it was His Will for us to do so.

Truly, I know these spiritual practices are challenging and take much perseverance and prayer.

But our Lord loves each of us very much. He redeemed us with His blood, therefore He paid the highest possible price for our souls.

But when we live in a right way, it is like living in the light. God is always in the light. So, if we live in the light, we share together in the life which God gives. And when Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross, He saved us from all our sins. The blood of His sacrifice makes us clean. If we say that we never do any wrong thing, we are deceiving ourselves. Even though we may think it is true, it is a lie. Instead, we should agree that we have done wrong things and tell that to God. Then God will forgive us for our sins. He always does what He has promised to do. He always does what is right. He will forgive us and He will make us clean again, whatever bad things we may have done. God says that all people have done wrong things. So, if we say that we have not done any wrong thing, we are saying that God tells lies. It shows that we have not accepted His message at all.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭EASY‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/2079/1jn.1.7-10.EASY

When we stumble and make mistakes, (and we all do because we are human, not one of us is perfect,) Jesus does not condemn us; when we humbly go to Him and ask, He forgives us and says, “…let’s try again.”

His Spirit within us is there to help us hear His voice in our hearts and want to obey Him. (*See Romans 8)

Jesus is on our side.
He wants to help us succeed in accomplishing His will.
All we need do is abide in Him and pray,
and keep true to His Word daily.
He will take care of manifesting Himself to our hearts, teaching us His word,
and showing us His will.

I’m very excited about sharing the Lord’s new album inspired by the Holy Spirit as a tribute to Christ’s life and redemptive ministry, and pray that the Lord will speak through His Word to each heart that listens to His songs and encourage them mightily with His love and grace, in Jesus’ name, amen.

In Christ’s love,

An Angel’s Heart

Detail from Peaceangelsong’s Gifts Christmas Greeting & Encouraging Card Collection “God’s Holy Angels”

Angels are important to us spiritually for we learn what God desires in the hearts of those who love and serve Him as we study His Word and reflect on what it teaches us.

From Psalm 103 we learn that one of the most important things about angels is that they are primarily God’s servants who hear God’s voice, and are always obedient to do the Lord’s will.

“Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, That do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye His hosts; Ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure.”

Psalm 103:20-21 KJV

From the Bible we learn that an Angel of God always hears God’s voice and obeys His will. God’s angels love God and trust Him.

But wasn’t the devil once one of God’s Angels?

Ezekiel the prophet wrote in reference to the anointed angel who became the devil: “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

Ezekiel 28:15 KJV

• What does that word perfect mean?

תָּמִים

tâmı̂ym ~taw-meem’ Concordance)

(From the Strong’s Bible Concordance

From H8552; entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth: – without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright, whole.

Strong’s Bible Concordance

What turned this Angel’s heart against his Master and Creator?

One of things the Bible mentions was enormous vanity and pride. “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

Ezekiel 28:17 KJV

Concerning the devil, Jesus had a few things to say. In speaking to the religious authorities who appeared perfect and flawlessly righteous outwardly, yet inwardly, in their hearts they were very corrupt.

Jesus said to them, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

John 8:44 KJV

Perfect is to God an altogether different concept from what is conceived by the devil and those formerly holy angels the evil one deceived into joining him in rebelling against our Creator.

God’s idea of perfection is a far cry from what humans imagine who have been seduced by the enemy into focusing on themselves and their appearance, on what they do, and if they do it better than others; how much money they earn, and how they can earn more, and then how they can best show off their success to others.

Depending on their age many souls are absorbed with either their popularity, their looks, their health, their jobs, school, career, their family, social media, etc.

Since they can’t see or hear Christ, they simply dismiss Him as irrelevant to their lives. They will value everything the world prizes rather than believing in what the Bible says is true.

They will not seek to know and love God for themselves in a vertical, personal relationship. For deep down they have a mistrust of spiritual, unseen things.

However God treasures those spiritual qualities in the soul who will listen to His voice, trust, and obey Him regardless of what anyone says or thinks about them, or what their obedience to Him might cost them.

It is a heart that completely acknowledges who God is, seeks to abide every moment in total submission to His sovereign authority, and to the Lord’s rightful expectation of worship that is due Him from their spirit, soul, mind and body.

It combines those attributes into a heart that passionately loves and desires to worship Him more than anything else.

God is their whole reason and motivation for living.

Such a heart looks like Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The Gospel of Matthew relates that on the Eve of His Crucifixion, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was praying to His Heavenly Father and sweating great drops of blood, His temptations were so dreadful.

And Jesus went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt.”

Matthew 26:39 KJV

The first commandment states, ““You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 ERV

God tries the heart His Word says. He tests us to see what we are made of. “For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.”

Psalm 66:10 KJV

Therefore we undergo trials and afflictions according to His Word. And when we suffer we are to rejoice.

“In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”

1 Peter 1:6-7 NASB1999

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

James 1:2-4 NASB1995

No human will ever reach complete perfection this side of heaven. Only Christ was perfect. But Christ is always working on the hearts He redeemed with His spotless blood, and who have committed their lives to Him.

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
‭‭

Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Though the Christian is saved by God’s grace and given Christ’s righteousness, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we must not continue to live in sin once we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.

“So, my brothers and sisters, we must not be ruled by our sinful selves. We must not live the way our sinful selves want. If you use your lives to do what your sinful selves want, you will die spiritually. But if you use the Spirit’s help to stop doing the wrong things you do with your body, you will have true life. The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them.”

Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭ERV‬‬

It is the Lord’s work in our lives to sanctify us within. We participate in this process through our obedience to Him. Our will must always be to do Christ’s will.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
‭‭

Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God wants a soul to care what He thinks about them more than what the public or their family or friends think about them.

God is more interested in knowing that we esteem His honor, affirmation, and encouragement than the popularity, honor, and esteem of the world.

If we must have the world’s favor rather the esteem and honor that the Lord wants to bestow upon us for obeying His will, then we show Him that we neither love, fear, nor truly have any real faith in Him.

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we do not really believe that we can hear and discern Christ’s voice so that we can learn to know His will for us, then we do not really believe that the teaching of the risen Lord Jesus Christ is true.

“Jesus answered them…My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand.
I and My Father are one.”

John 10:25, 27-30 KJV

“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

Ephesians 5:17 KJV

The holy Angels of the Most High God live to worship and obey the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

Like the Angels who sang over the fields in Bethlehem on the first Christmas.

“Glory to God in the highest…”

Luke 2:14 KJV

They worship and glorify God always in the way He directs them.

God’s Angels exist to extol the perfections of their Creator, not their own.

For the moment an Angel’s mind becomes self focused it is no longer holy, and is transformed like vain Lucifer into a devil and must be thrust from the Lord’s presence.

Perfectionism is self focused, ever working to please humans. It never glorifies God, but exhausts itself trying to appear as if it had no visible flaws.

Jesus warned the Pharisees (religious rulers) that even though they appeared morally flawless outwardly, that in their hearts they were filled with dead men’s bones. He called them hypocrites.

Satan, the once beautiful, upright anointed Angel of God, a creature who seemed perfect and without fault, until “… iniquity was found in him, ” once beheld the beautiful face of God and worshiped Him.

So also did the third of the Angels whom the devil led into a rebellion against the Almighty.

They did not remain in their position with God because they trusted and believed an unholy lie.

What had been light became dark and corrupted with evil.

Whatever we might imagine we are outwardly, if we don’t truly know the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, if we do not seek His face in private personal prayer, humbly abiding in continual fellowship with Him, listening for His voice, and know and understand by faith His Word and will, and obey it, then we are in danger of offering our Lord the outwardly perfect sacrifice of the Pharisees and of Cain, instead of the sacrifice God has asked us for, which Cain’s brother Abel, and which Christ gave to the Lord, and which found favor with God.

Both Abel’s and Christ’s sacrifices involved the absolute submission of their entire wills to God. In both cases it was not necessarily the gift they desired to give to God, but the gift God desired from them.

Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ,
whom Thou hast sent.”
‭‭

John‬ ‭17‬:‭3‬ ‭

Prayer

Heavenly Father, may You give me a humble, holy heart just like the Angels, that exists to hear Thy voice and obey Thee, to worship and extol Thy perfections, and those of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thank You, I love You, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Rehearsing God’s Faithfulness

Rehearsing God’s Faithfulness in Troubling Times

It was 5 weeks ago today that I fell and broke my left humerus.

I didn’t think I could survive this affliction the pain was so excruciating and it left me quite debilitated.

But here it is five weeks later and the Lord has helped me persevere despite what I was dead certain I could not live through. He is showing me yet again that He will never fail me in the trials He takes me through. He in His limitless love, mercy, and faithfulness has provided everything I’ve needed and so much support and prayer from so many wonderful people.

Through every trial He takes me, though it’s never pleasant, I’m always reminded He is always with me and He never fails. If He hasn’t failed me thus far, then I don’t have to walk in fear and doubt that next time a crisis occurs, He might slip up.

But as the following scripture passage from the Book of Hebrews relates, that is just what happened long ago to God’s special people whom He rescued from Egypt.

“God’s Holy Spirit says this:

‘You must listen when you hear God speak today.

Do not refuse to obey Him.

Do not be like God’s people many years ago.

When they travelled in the wilderness, they turned against Me.

They wanted to see if I would punish them.

For 40 years your ancestors saw the great things that I did.But still they did not obey Me.

That is why I became angry with them. I said, “They always want to do what is wrong. They refuse to understand My message.”

Because of that, I promised to punish them. Because I was angry with them, I said, “They will never arrive in My special place of rest.” ’

So be careful, my Christian friends. Do not refuse to trust God.That would be a very bad thing to do.

Do not turn away from the God who lives for ever.

Instead, help each other to be strong every day.

Today, you can still hear God’s message.

While that is still true, do not refuse to obey God.

Do not think that sin will not hurt you. That is a lie.

We must continue to trust Christ very well, as we did when we first believed in Him.

We must continue to trust Him until the end of our lives.

Then we will share in everything that is His. We have seen what the Bible says:

‘You must listen when you hear God speak today. Do not refuse to obey Him.

Hebrews 3:7-14 EASY

FEAR AND DOUBT

The Hebrew children saw God’s mighty works, His miracles, for forty years as they traversed the desert wilderness.

God often tested their faith, but instead of trusting Him building on the experience of how He’d brought them through the previous times, they repeatedly fussed, doubted, and complained against God and grew not in their faith.

They seemed never to cross that bridge of fear and worry to advance with God toward the Promised Land.

This gives us a sobering message and warning.

For all God’s children will be tested in our faith according to His Word. However the Lord asks that we trust Him.

How often The Lord in His mercy has spoken to my heart in the midst of countless afflictions, “These troubles are not going to kill you. However, fear, stress, doubt, and depression ~ now these are the dark things that can kill you. But trust, hope and faith will conquer those things and you have to choose to walk with Me by faith.”

“Many adversities come to the one who is righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”

Psalms 34:19 HCSB

He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

Psalms 34:20 HCSB

I asked the Lord, why He didn’t keep His scripture promise to protect my bones.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that first of all Psalm 34:20 is a prophecy referring to the Lord Jesus Christ specifically, but in a metaphorical sense the Lord will keep all the bones of His children from breaking always.

What are bones? They are the foundation of our body. And God in this verse is promising to hold together my very foundation no matter what adversity I might have to face from any trial He puts me through. Jesus Christ God’s Son, holds all things together, even the very foundation of my being.

“Christ is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.”

Colossians 1:17 HCSB

No matter if everything seems like it is going to fall apart, Christ is still here, ever present, holding all things together. His word promises “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word…” Hebrews 1:3 HCSB

Peter wrote:

“You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. You rejoice in this, though now for a short time you have had to struggle in various trials so that the genuineness of your faith —more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire —may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 1:5-7 HCSB

Whatever challenge we may find ourselves in right now, it is a good idea to look back over the trials we have faced in the past and write down how God has brought us through those hard times.

Rehearse how faithful the Lord has been to you and give Him thanks. This practice will strengthen your faith.

I know He has never failed our family or anyone I can think of who has trusted in Him. So many people I know have amazing stories to tell of His awesome faithfulness.

We might be tempted to think that if the Hebrew children had taken the time to review God’s amazing miracles with each trial they faced during their forty year sojourn, perhaps faith would have overcome doubt and fear.

However, no one can judge them. For it must have been very hard for those people. Whenever I put myself in their shoes I shudder and thank our merciful God for sending His Son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation for our sins, He is our Mercy Seat.

Personally I know from some of the testings the Lord has put me through that I am certainly no better than His precious Hebrew children were. And I am so grateful for His mercy and grace expressed in the sacrifice of His Son. For we turn the chapter and the writer of Hebrews offers us hope:

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens —Jesus the Son of God —let us hold fast to the confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.”

Hebrews 4:14-16 HCSB

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins that we may be forgiven and made Yours forever. Help us to review the ways in which You have come through for us in the past and trust that You will never fail us no matter what is going on now to challenge our faith. Thank You, Lord, we love You, In Jesus holy name, amen.

Come Boldly
